Your day at NTT DATA

Financial Management jobs are accountable for overseeing and managing all fiscal responsibilities, risk, and reporting across a region or country or across the global organization. They are responsible for providing leadership and consulting support to business stakeholders on matters pertaining to financial management and strategic implementation in support of achieving corporate objectives and business growth.
This role prepares detailed cash flow statements, earning release calculations and all equity related disclosures.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Contributes to the coordination and management of the FP&A function and operation
• Ensure that all financial processes, systems, and policies are established and adhered to
• Contributes to the analysis and preparation of several financial reports and ensures the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums
• Implements and manages compliance with financial controls
• Performs Value Added analysis to determine the main drivers behind margin movements. Can clearly explain volume and mix dynamics
• Delivers fully loaded Product P&Ls by allocating all costs below VA to the different product lines, so to establish the real profitability of each product
• Champions profitability by giving critical insights to the leadership and speaking truth to power
• Tracks and helps drive the profitability v. the cost model for Professional Services (PS) projects
• Ensures accurate recognition of partner incentives / rebates on the Cloud Comms Shadow P&L
• Is the gatekeeper for commission calculations and payments
• Compliantly facilitates the capitalisation globally of software development costs
• Ad-hoc EMEA regional assistance at month end to speed-up the close
• Ensures legal compliance regarding legal and fiscal tax requirements in relation to the geography in which they operate
• Oversees the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analyses of financial performance
• Ensure that annual audit processes are coordinated effectively and followed
• Annually initiates and oversees the process of budget compilation and management

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

Relevant tertiary level (preferably post-graduate degree with solid experience in a financial management capacity at more senior grades)

Experience required

• Demonstrated financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes, and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives
• Demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function
• Demonstrated strategic planning experience
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with a strong understanding of the business process
• Demonstrated experience as a people and resource manager
