Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Looking for a new opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI? We have a hybrid opening on our Accounting team as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst and are looking for the right person for the challenge. The Financial Reporting Analyst will support the external reporting and consolidations teams. This person will be preparing financial statements, writing journal entries, working within Excel and supporting our Regional Reporting team here at Headquarters. About the Role

How you will contribute

• Financial close and consolidation system reporting for Americas region.
• Detailed P&L analytics.
• Detailed Balance sheet analytics.
• Quarterly top-side adjustments for deferred revenues.
• Key accruals review and analysis (includes restructuring, legal, contingent considerations).
• Various roll forwards (including CAPEX, deferred revenue, deferred launch, etc.).
• Leasing (IFRS 16) system management for region.
• Preparing and posting complex transaction journal entries, excluding K2).

• Liaison to global consolidation and reporting team on joint activities - ie, audit, chart of account change requests, reporting changes due to new business or structural changes.
• Support review of contracts and technical accounting matters.

Your Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with emphasis in accounting required.
• 3-5 years total experience in public and private accounting.
• C.P.A preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with IFRS a plus.
• Experience with SAP and/or BPC a plus.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, business processes and risk assessments
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience in an audit, financial controls and accounting functions
