Eaton's North American Financial Services Division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst -Global OTC Reporting and Systems to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, Ohio location.

Position Overview:

The Senior OTC Reporting Analyst is responsible for completing and analyzing accounts receivable results for the Global OTC team within GFSS. The Analyst will be a data scientist, leveraging tools and technology to make reporting more efficient and improve accuracy. The role is responsible for the support and enhancement of the OTC global reports and reporting solutions. This individual will work to pull data out of our financial reporting systems to consolidate financial reports for GFSS Leadership. They will work with a global team and be responsible for delivering reporting on a regular cadence as well as ad hoc, as requested by management. The individual should be willing to embrace technology and someone who looks for ways to streamline efforts and make current processes more efficient.

In this function you will:

 

  • Complete worldwide receivables data consolidation and analysis including aging reports and any applicable collection metrics. Reporting assignments are completed on a regular monthly schedule or ad hoc as requested by GFSS Leadership.
  • Responsible for monitoring the monthly aging to GL analysis for Oracle sites. This includes running reports, analyzing the results and working with the global team to coordinate and implement necessary corrections each month.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Support testing for any project implementations or changes to standard reports (OBIEE) in conjunction with IT.
  • Participate in Eaton's financial transformation projects and supporting the OTC initiatives as a functional analyst and complete any testing.
  • Support the Data Hub project upon Go Live through testing, maintaining lookup tables, problem solving and ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts on the OTC team to extract data from Oracle R12 and SAP for ad hoc reporting for GFSS Leadership and other Eaton cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with pulling and providing AR data for audit purposes.
  • Able to take current processes and streamline using available tools and technology.
  • Prior experience working in or with accounts receivable/credit teams a plus.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years of finance/accounting and/or reporting experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the geographic area will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.


Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

 

  • Strong working knowledge of reporting tools a plus (example: PowerBI).
  • Able to look at a current process and see how they can be improved
  • Working knowledge of computer programs/systems such as Oracle/SAP, PowerBI, OBIEE, Business Warehouse, SQL and Microsoft products (Word and Advanced Excel)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytic/problem solving skills
