About the Opportunity

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst position reports to the Manager, Financial Reporting. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will interact with all levels of the organization across the business and will be responsible for delivering the highest quality financial information that lends to insightful, informed business decisions by our stakeholders, including management, investors and lenders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and works well both individually as well as in a team environment.

Where you will make an impact

• Participate in the creation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including completion of lead schedules, account analysis and footnote preparation.
• Assist with annual financial reporting in accordance with international statutory regulations.
• Assist in maintaining stock option vesting and expense schedules in accordance with ASC 718, in addition to reconciling stock option activities to the equity software.
• Perform supporting role in technical accounting research and assist with making and documenting accounting determinations.
• Assist with periodic valuation procedures and occasional M&A activity.
• Provide limited administrative backup support on the Planful application.
• Work with management on various accounting and finance related projects.
• Consistently monitor, recommend and implement improvements to current methodologies and practices.

What you will bring

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or actively pursuing CPA license
• 2+ years of experience with a major public accounting firm
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Competence in financial accounting and reporting frameworks along with an in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
• Experience using and adapting to new applications and technology
• Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ability to understand and analyze key performance metrics
• Software industry accounting experience a plus
