At its core, the goal of the FinOps organization is to enable the organization to gain maximum value out of its operations by supporting various stakeholders such as Engineering, Finance, Product, and sales to collaborate on data-driven spending decisions.

As a Senior FinOps Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team working with the various parts of the organization to primarily focus on Anaplan Data Center footprint, managing and leading its capacity management process and change management as we transition to the Cloud. You will show strength in collaboration with the ability to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs, and improve efficiency, reporting, and decision making. Over time, this role will ultimately transition to focus on the Cloud business providing potential opportunities for growth and development.

Your Impact
  • Building and running a multi-functional demand planning process relating to Data Center usage and capacity
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Forecasting and modeling for Data Center capacity requirements – Consumption, Hardware, Storage, Networking, Licenses, etc.
  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to multi-functional team members and management
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
  • Serving as a liaison between partners and driving accountability as appropriate
  • Work closely with Asset Management Analyst to run asset lifecycle management process and system
  • Lead business case development
Your Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering
  • 5+ year’s of technical experience
  • Experienced working in a SaaS company
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience with Anaplan Models is an advantage
