Senior Firmware Engineer - Golden, CO

Allegion is looking for a passionate Senior Firmware Engineer to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security and access management. This hybrid role is based in Golden, Colorado. You'll work on solutions that enable seamless access and help keep people safe and secure where they work, live and thrive.

What You Will Do:

• End-to-end responsibility for designing, developing, testing, and documenting reusable firmware components in C language
• Work on multiple firmware layers, from low level drivers to application protocols
• Develop support documentation and unit test cases
• Collaborate with other firmware engineers and project leads in a hybrid work environment
• Support cross functional engineering, manufacturing, and product test teams

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science
• 5+ years of experience in firmware and/or embedded software
• End-to-end product development experience with embedded systems design
• Expertise with Real Time Operating Systems
• Sound engineering fundamentals, experiences with diverse technologies, and strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
• Strong proficiency in developing embedded software in C using industry standard tools IDEs, Git version control, meters, instrumentation, metrology, protocol analyzers, etc.
• Passion for developing solutions at the intersection of electronics hardware, mobile applications such as iOS and Android, and cloud technologies
• Experience with communication protocols and network stacks such as Wi-Fi, BLE, and Thread

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Salary Range: $116-$137K/ per year
