We're looking for an awesome Senior Fluidics Engineer | BioPhotonics | Optofluidics to join our team on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine 📈 

About your Role 📰 / What will you be doing? 👀

• Help us to develop our technology by combining an advanced photonics platform, data science, and ML algorithms to extract biological fingerprints from optical signals.
• Design, fabricate, implement and validate optical sensing approaches to further enhance our photonics platform technology
• Provide insights towards improving our platform and interacting with the rest of the company teams to that end.
• Be up to date with the state of the art in optically based biosensing approaches for biological fingerprint generation
• Plan and execute scientific communication strategies through peer-reviewed research, review articles, and presentations at national and international conferences.
• Work with our Product team to assist in validating functional requirements and value generation for our customers.
• Work with our Regulatory affairs team to ensure our product hits the highest quality standards.

Job Description

Requirements:

• Be passionate about the application of photonics in healthcare
• Appropriate track record in nanofabrication with experience in on-device fluid and/or gas handling a plus
• Proven ability in the development and application of photonics devices, protocols, data acquisition, analysis, and data interpretation
• Experience working with biological samples in liquid form
• Good understanding of light-matter interaction in biological samples
• Be a problem solver, proactive thinker, and a team player that enjoys facing challenges.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions
• Proven track record of disseminating your research among peers and stakeholders at different levels, including conferences and journal articles.
• Be fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in nanoscience, physical chemistry, biophotonics, biomedical
engineering, physics, optics, or a related discipline with at least 4 years research
experience (academic and/or industry).
