Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking experienced electrical engineers to analyze military hardware systems. In this role, candidates will work in laboratories on Redstone Arsenal to perform foreign material exploitation (FME), reverse engineering hardware to characterize and assess system operations and performance. Candidates will be expected to work in a team to analyze hardware circuitry, build functional diagrams and schematics, and develop tools and methods for system diagnostics. Furthermore, candidates will be expected to configure lab systems to ensure systems or subsystems are functioning correctly.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, have a positive attitude, and possess a strong foundation in testing/analysis of analog circuitry. Preferred candidates will have experience analyzing weapon systems and have experience with the following
- Hardware reverse engineering, testing, or integration
- Characterization of foreign threat systems
- Analysis of surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems
Job Requirements
Minimum requirements include a BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university with over 12 years of applicable experience in complex hardware analysis, design, or integration. Candidates with experience supporting Army or Department of Defense related fields are preferred but not required.
The work site is at customer facilities on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Position requires that candidate obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Inability to obtain or maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Limited travel may be required for this position.
