 About the role

• Serve as a Finance liaison to business partners, responsible for review of annual financial plans, monthly actuals, and updating rolling forecasts
• Collaborate with business partners to prepare and review multi-year business plan projections.  Primary point of contact and manager of annual budget and financial forecast model.
• Own components of our annual financial plan, budget, and rolling forecasts
• Use financial data and analysis to advise executives and business partners on operational and strategic decisions
• Conduct variance analysis to explain how our financial plan and rolling forecasts compare against our actual performance
• Support the development of new KPIs and management reports
• Leverage data from different sources to tell a succinct story
• Prepare financial presentations for senior executives and our Board

About you

• Expert financial modeling and financial analysis skills, including knowing how to leverage Excel (advanced-level preferred) and Google Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and business operations
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and to translate results into meaningful metrics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment, delivering on deadline and handle multiple projects simultaneously in an autonomous environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested
• Effective written and oral communication skills as position requires communicating with department heads and management
• 2-4 years of prior FP&A experience in a venture/PE backed company and/or consulting experience
• Strong willingness to learn
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Business
