Job Summary:
Our Senior FP&A Analyst will be a key finance team member, overseeing financial planning and analysis activities. In this role, you are a strategic thinker who can translate financial data into actionable insights and collaborate cross-functionally to support the company's financial goals.
What you get to do:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with cohort leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to support growth and profitability goals.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Utilize financial systems and tools to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and provide insights to address specific business challenges.
  • Cost Analysis; Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Work with operational teams to implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Trend Analysis; Identify and analyze financial and operational trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Variance Analysis; Investigate and explain variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets. Collaborate with department heads to develop action plans to address variances.
  • Financial Modeling; Build complex financial models to support scenario analysis and long-term financial planning.
  • Data Management; Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems. Develop and implement data reporting processes and controls.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and provide support for special projects or initiatives as requested.


What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA is a plus).
  • 5 plus years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting standards.
  • Advanced Excel, NetSuite and Powerpoint skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to the C-suite, and Board of Directors.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, tech startup environment.
