Reporting to the Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, our Senior Financial Analyst will support the financial planning, reporting and analysis of Life Fitness' global corporate organization. The role is located at the global headquarters in Rosemont, IL.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modification, creation and population of models required to prepare the annual business plan, including creation and distribution of templates to efficiently collect, consolidate and summarize the information necessary to create full financial statements - income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Analysis of business plan data, to include preparation of financial comparisons, balance sheet ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, manufacturing cost analyses, and other requested analytics
• Analysis of actual monthly financial results against plan, forecast and prior year. Investigates and reports on significant variances as identified. Lead the consolidation of monthly presentation outlining highlights for the period as well as key analytics to support business drivers
• Monthly update of financial forecast. Collection and consolidation of updated sales, cost and operating expense forecasts. Updating of balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
• Review and analysis of spending proposals submitted via the Company's AR process. Ensures that expenditures are financially justified and/or consistent with the Company's short-term and long-term objectives. Post-auditing of actual project results against stated goals. Summarize and report on capital spending as necessary
• Special projects as required

REQUIRED EUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in an FP&A role, preferably supporting corporate functions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (heavy Excel and PowerPoint)
• Oracle Financials and/or experience with business intelligence tools a plus
• Experience working in a Private Equity environment a plus

• Solid oral and written communication skills - ability to translate numbers into actionable insights
