Senior FP&A Manager

The Financial Planning & Analysis team is seeking a highly motivated, strategic finance professional to help drive Fastly forward through improved data metrics and reporting.  This role will initially be designated as an individual contributor.  The role will be heavily focused on transforming data into insights aligned to the strategic vision of the company.  The ideal candidate will help to drive KPIs that include cross-functional metrics that align execution with goals.  

What You'll Do

  • Under the direction of the Sr. Director of FP&A, buildout improved finance reporting and metrics through data transformation and governance with an ultimate goal of centralized source of finance data sets
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling for ad-hoc special projects 
  • Working with our Data Analytics/Business Intelligence team, one goal is to manage, centralize, and enrich a master data set capturing revenue and bookings as well as customer & product data used by multiple teams for monthly and quarterly business reviews and annual planning activities by finance
  • Establish business processes and cadence to ensure data consistency between Netsuite, Adaptive, SFDC, Looker and the data warehouse to maintain the single source of truth
  • Validate Large Data Sets across multiple systems to ensure consistency
  • This role will partner frequently with the Data Analytics/Business Intelligence team, work cross-functionally with the finance systems team, and with various stakeholders across Fastly 
  • This role will work closely with Investor Relations during quarter close to assist with various reporting needs

Work Hours: 

  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • High degree of verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate directly with senior leadership
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in FP&A with a focus on scaling data and providing data insights
  • You have experience developing scorecards, dashboards and clear financial metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Netsuite, Adaptive, or Looker a plus
  • Knowledge of usage based and subscription based revenue models is a plus
  • A true self-starter.  This role will often be ad hoc in nature and needs a someone with a curious spirit

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.  

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $122,280 to $179,820.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
