What You'll Do:

• Work closely with our design and product team to understand and translate UI requirements into code.
• Execute front-end coding during our development sprints, to produce great consistent UI.
• Work alongside back-end developers each sprint, integrating to create an end-to-end solution.
• Perform development in CSS, HTML, Javascript, and 3rd party libraries or frameworks such as jQuery and React.
• Execute UI development for web desktop, mobile web.
• Maintain and manage a cohesive front-end framework as we make updates and add features to the UIs.
• Research, prototype and advise on new front-end technologies and tools as we evolve our platform tech stack.
• Growing our design system to be used across the various teams.
• Develop test cases for cross-browser testing, and assist in the QA Engineering process.
• Provide troubleshooting and escalated technical support to production features that involve UI / front-end.

Who You Are:

• Expert understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including use of Flexbox model, columns, grids, transforms, and transitions
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript (ES6+ and modular JS is a plus)
• 3+ years developing complex web applications using React
• Experience with Typescript is a plus
• Proficient with automated testing (Jest, Cypress, etc.), RESTful API design, CI/CD 
• Ensuring our front ends render consistently across browsers and viewport size
• Drive our accessibility strategy
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum 
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills 
• You’re curious and passionate
• You thrive in a collaborative environment
• You write clean, testable code with an eye towards maintainability
• You’re smart, humble, and enjoy learning as much as teaching
