Senior Front End Engineer

Summary 

Codazen is looking for Senior Front End Engineers that have a solid software engineering foundation with focus on web-centric Front End technologies and can leverage extensive relevant industry experience to deliver engaging enterprise-scale user experiences targeting web and mobile platforms. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and contribute to complex engineering initiatives to design, develop, and consistently deliver engaging enterprise quality UI solutions. 
• Manage high standards by utilizing, defining, and advocating best practices for UI development. 
• Active cross functional collaboration and partnering within a fast-paced agile consulting environment. 
• Drive and contribute to organizational initiatives that support continuous improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cumulative knowledge.
• Intentional learning, coaching, and mentoring to support individual growth and that of the organization.
• Utilize strong leadership skills to inform and influence decisions that contribute to increased business value for our customers, high client satisfaction, and overall company success. 

Skills and Requirements 

• 5+ years professional experience with modern JavaScript web frameworks including React
• Advanced skills in developing reusable UI components and component libraries
• Experience expertise with design systems (i.e. Material UI)
• Strong skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiar with backend systems, technologies, and languages that contribute to overall solutions including API’s, interfaces, and storage layers.
• Experience developing user experiences catering to a global audience
• Very detail oriented specifically related to visual fidelity and user flow
• Solid programming foundation including object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures
• Excellent engagement, interpersonal, and cross-functional teamwork skills
• Highly adaptable and can effectively work within an agile and iterative development process
• Effective communications skills both at the technical and business level
• Strong focus on delivering accurate, timely, and positive results
• Eagerness to grow with an organization long-term 
• This role is 100% onsite Monday through Friday based out of Irvine, CA

• Advanced web-based animation knowledge (with and without frameworks)
• Knowledge and experience applying SEO best practicesA/B testing experience

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure including AWS and Azure
