As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will drive the development of high-quality front-end experiences that reach millions of customers. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product people to deliver solutions that are innovative, reliable, and user-friendly. Challenges include simplifying complex systems, ensuring tools and practices remain useful, and maintaining the health and performance of our applications. By balancing technical improvements with delivering customer value, you will help shape the future of our product and mentor others to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading the development and maintenance of complex front-end solutions, with a track record of delivering high-quality front-end experiences at scale.
• Expertise in uplifting or rebuilding legacy codebases.
• Strong mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers on best front-end practices.
• Proficiency in writing functional-style TypeScript, with the capability to set team standards and practices.
• Deep understanding of React and its core principles, with the ability to balance performance, maintainability, and delivery pragmatically.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL and its related tools and ecosystem.
• Experience with testing practices and tools, with a focus on maintaining high release quality.
