The reason behind the role
SingleOps is looking for a talented Senior Front End Engineer to join our talented product development team. If you have solid experience in React and Redux and you are passionate about creating high quality features that wow our customers, we want to hear from you.
Outcomes you will drive:Â
- Excellent implementation of design: Turn the ideas of product and design into reality with attention to detail.
- Good architectural principles: Lead the development of features, emphasizing modularity, reusability, and scalability.
- Growing the team's React and Redux expertise: Provide guidance on best practices, patterns, and code quality related to React and Redux development.
- Optimal frontend performance: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance the overall user experience.
- Valuable code reviews: Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Specific experience is less important than a demonstrable desire to learn and the ability to complete complex projects. However, a good candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong emphasis on React and Redux in complex applications
- Experience in Micro Frontends architecture and implementation
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design
- Experience with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM, Git)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
A few ways to stand out...
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Familiarity with state management libraries other than Redux (e.g. MobX)
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence in the developer community
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 USD, and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. SingleOps complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
