Senior Frontend Designer (m/f/x) | Munich

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Designer who thrives at the intersection of exceptional UI design and precise front-end development. Collaborating closely with our CEO, you’ll bring innovative ideas to life, create seamless user experiences, and help us set the gold standard for SaaS design and development. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Design & Prototyping (70%): 
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO to quickly capture and iterate on ideas 
  • Create high-quality UI designs and prototypes using Figma
  • Maintain and enhance the UI toolkit and design systems
  • Apply UX principles to improve user satisfaction and product usability 
  • Move to a system of fast iteration where new features or iterations of existing ones can be built in a front-end environment
• Front-End Development (30%): 
  • Be in full control and strict on UI and design systems, ensuring consistency and high standards
  • Implement designs into functional front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Work alongside the development team to integrate designs with backend systems
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Actively participate in design and code reviews, providing valuable feedback
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the team

Your profile 

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in Figma with an eye for detail and the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback
• Strong understanding of UX principles to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) is a plus
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with B2B SaaS or complex software systems
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
