Senior Frontend Developer

Job Summary: As a member of ISN’s Products Team, the Senior Front-End Developer is responsible for interpreting and implementing UI/UX designs into ISN products.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years’ experience in a front-end or UI development role, preferably at a SaaS Company
• 5 years' experience in React.JS
• Experience working on Design Systems and Component Libraries
• Experience with Storybook
• Experience working with Server-Side Rendering, Client-Side Rendering & Static-Site Generation
• Experience using version-control system (Git, Azure DevOps)
• Experience within a Microsoft Azure hosted environment / ecosystem strongly desired
• Experience working with Fetch API, Axios, Redux toolkit, Postman
• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
• Strong understanding of Stencil.js
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including React, JS6, and jQuery
• Proficient understand of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• Experience developing and supporting large scale Web Applications is preferred

Additional Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces for web applications
• Create and maintain design systems and web components
• Use Stencil.js to build reusable and maintainable code
• Create and maintain Storybook components for testing and documentation
• Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with the application's API
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to gather requirements and create user stories
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with UX researchers, product designers and software engineers to improve usability
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
• Write clean, efficient, well-formatted, well-documented code, following current best practices/SOPs
• Implement front-end architecture standards
• Build responsive features
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Monitor Azure DevOps to ensure that tasks requiring front-end development are completed
• Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
