What We're Looking For:
We are in search of a Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong command of React, ideally with experience in Next.js or a quick ability to master it. Familiarity with creating user-friendly, consumer-facing products is a notable advantage. We also value a collaborative spirit and are seeking someone ready to join a team of other high-potential developers.
What You'll Do:

• Craft technical solutions by turning visionary product ideas into tangible experiences for consumers.
• Help elevate coding standards by keeping the code base organized and writing high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web accessibility standards.
• Directly impact and contribute to significant enhancements in user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.

Requirements
Skills You Have:

• You consider yourself an expert in JavaScript.
• You possess a strong proficiency in React or similar frameworks, creating responsive and visually appealing user interfaces with a focus on performance.
• You have a deep understanding of new image and video formats and how to leverage these to create performant apps.
• You have a solid understanding of web security, including concepts like XSS, CSRF, CORS, sandboxing and the like.
• You've performed unit testing with frameworks like Jest.
• You've worked with consumer-facing products.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with Redux, Next.js, Typescript, SASS, and Webpack.
• Proficient in using code versioning tools like Git.
• Contributions to open source projects or a robust portfolio of past projects.
• Exposure to end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress.
• Familiarity with backend concepts.

The Base Salary range for this position is $135,000 - $176,000 USD annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
