We are looking for a motivated Senior Frontend Developer with a hands-on mentality to support us in reaching this goal.

Our Stack

We are working with Nodejs / Vue.js / Typescript / GraphQL stack for our web app, React Native for our mobile app, and our backend architecture is written in Go and runs on Kubernetes.

Our web app is SSR which requires more care and love than a normal SPA. Knowledge of best practices for core web vitals is also a big plus. We developed our TV app with React Native.

What you will be doing

• You will work on building A/B tests, developing features, increasing site observability, creating landing pages, and making decisions on the underlying architecture to support all these.
• You will support the team in conceptualizing, prototyping, and developing new features, iterating on existing ones, all while constantly improving the existing codebase to ensure high maintainability and extensibility.
• You will work on the general friendliness of our website, improving the user experience, and optimizing the user journey.
• You will be expected to support other junior and midlevel team members.
• As your understanding of the company grows, you will be counted on to guide top-level decisions for the good of the company, other devs, and the codebase.

What we need from you

• Solid knowledge of 4+ years in software engineering, ideally in the context of a high-traffic website with a substantial user base.
• Experience with a modern JS framework and prior work with TypeScript and Vue.js before.
• Someone with a side project/startup (failed or successful) or entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team, closely collaborating with other Frontend Developers, Backend Developers & Product Managers.
• Fluent English.
