Your Opportunity: Build Things that Matter

As a Frontend Engineer, you’re accountable for developing the critical infrastructure of our financial enablement platform. Functionalities you’ll work on may include transaction processing, automations that streamline payments, UX design and end-user features. You’ll have an incredible opportunity to not only enhance existing functionality, but also build innovative new products and features that will be instrumental to our growth and success.

What We’re Looking For

• A curious, innovative and highly motivated leader who will fearlessly take ownership of our customer-facing web application.
• A solid React developer obsessed with writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code – and who demands vigorous testing, accepting nothing less than 80% coverage.
• Someone who can easily code up a REST or GraphQL API. Bonus points for experience building an API in Elixir or other functional programming languages.
• Someone who isn’t intimidated by relational databases and knows how to write SQL queries (or find the answer if you need to.)
• An avid team player who works collaboratively and supports all other team members, knowing that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
• An adventurous spirit excited about working for a fast-paced start-up and being accountable for having a tangible impact on the growth and success of the company.

Compensation Range:

$117,000-$160,000

Denim believes in providing pay transparency to all candidates. For annual compensation, our pay ranges for all roles are based on geographic location, job responsibilities and experience, benchmarked against similar stage companies in our industry. We share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Every final offer presented is determined by several components including location as well as candidate experience and skills, and could alter from the amounts listed above.
