What is the Role:
DTEX Systems, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in OpenSearch Dashboards, React, TypeScript, and Node.js. This role involves leading the development of sophisticated user interfaces, and contributing to backend services to enhance user experience and functionality. You will be integral part of our development team, responsible for building and maintaining web applications that offer seamless user experiences. You will lead projects from conception to release, balancing, front-end aesthetics with functional backend structures. Your deep understanding of software development, from database structure to client side responsiveness, will drive the successful delivery of our projects.
What You Will Do:

• Develop and enhance OpenSearch Dashboards with a focus on user interface and experience.
• Lead the development of new features and applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, OpenSearch Dashboards and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance.
• Maintain and improve code quality through best practices and code reviews.
• Ensure the security and data protection standards are met across all aspects of the application.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, implementing best practices that contribute to the team’s effectiveness.

We are looking for you if you have/are:

• US Citizen
• 7+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with backend development using Node.js, including understanding of RESTful services and API integration.
• Proficiency in MVC/MVM frameworks and experience with web services technologies.
• Familiarity with UX design principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.
• Proven experience in developing and optimizing Kibana or OpenSearch Dashboards or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch is preferred.
