Senior Full Stack Developer

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Web Developer to join our team in development of innovation projects in partnership with Google for a Department of Defense customer. Our team uses leading edge tech stacks and a DevSecOps development methodology to maximize automation and quality of delivered software. Interested candidates should have a solid understanding of best practices for modern web application development and confident in their ability to quickly come up to speed on new technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional experience as a full stack web application developer working as part of an agile team.
• Experience leading a team of developers to design and architect systems, build out a product backlog with Epics and User Stories, assign tasks to team members, and mentor/coach junior developers on best practices.
• Proficiency with one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Experience developing modern JavaScript SPAs using component-based frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Experience developing REST APIs with framework such as Express (Node.js), Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Spring.
• Experience developing CRUD logic using ORM frameworks or libraries for integration of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch. 
• Experience designing applications using HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Vuetify, or Material UI.
• Experience with agile development tools such as git for version control and JIRA for task tracking.
• Experience with DevSecOps  and using tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI/CD to automate build/test/deploy of applications.
• Experience writing unit tests for developed software to validate expected behavior, identify problems early, and automate regression testing of code.  
• Experience using linters and other code quality tools such as SonarQube to ensure high quality and maintainability of developed code.
  
• Bachelors Degree
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with UX Design best practices and tools including Figma
• Experience using PaaS or IaaS cloud platforms such as Pivotal, Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure for app deployment 
• Experience with application logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack or Splunk.
