Become part of a strategically important business area – SaaS Client Services unit – supporting our clients on technical developments around the world. We have a diverse team spread across the globe that we are expanding further. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer with enthusiasm for Software Architecture, Clean Code and Automation to join our SaaS global team creating solutions targeting the Azure Cloud platform. 

We are currently looking for a Senior C# full-stack software engineer with a solid focus on backend development and Cloud experience to be working in our SaaS Innovation unit. In this unit we focus on creating “Software as a Service” (SaaS) and large scale applications. 

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be joining a well-functioning agile team responsible of Software Engineers, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner. You will have an important part in the design of SimCorp's core applications deployment, transforming it into a robust cloud service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide expert service and support to our clients in the global financial sector, assisting them with the operation of their SimCorp applications through our innovative SaaS solution. 

The team is a hybrid-based team currently located in both Denmark and Poland but our unit – SaaS Client Services unit - consists of people located around the world. Besides your team you will work with other colleagues across our unit. Our teams are culturally diverse, English speaking, openminded and we are all looking forward to getting a new colleague onboard.

We are primarily looking for a Senior full-stack (C#) software engineer with a solid understanding of cloud, and experience with Azure. 

What will you be responsible for 

 ​

• Participate actively in scrum events and guide plan how the team best fulfil its goals. 
• Build and maintain cloud applications, focusing on the backend and optimizing performance and maintainability.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration with other engineers. 
• Provide ‘mentorship’ to team members if needed. 
• Actively contribute to the software development processes, architecture and design principles. 
• Seek out and evaluate the latest in technology to ensure we continue to meet current industry standards. 

What we value
