Working as a Senior Full Stack Developer - Digital Experience at Big Ass Fans is dynamic. You will have responsibility for architecting and building solutions related to our digital experience and to supporting our digital transformation efforts. This role reports up through the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) organization.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, loves problem-solving, and is a good communicator, transforming ideas into integrated solutions. The role is responsible for backend and front development, will be part of the software development lifecycle that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions. This role will require a strong knowledge in the back-end data pipeline, API and service development frameworks, front end web development frameworks and data architecture and systems implementation. This role is crafting and implementing technical solutions to complex business needs and requires the ability to work across multiple systems that form the solution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Utilize programming languages like React, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL, Python, and Laravel in conjunction with knowledge of WordPress, Magento, and Mulesoft.
• Experience in dev ops, Adobe Commerce Cloud deployment processes and debugging/bug fixing in Magento.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with web application development.
• Experience with relevant code repository and project tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Confluence.
• Ability to integrate APIs, create automated test cases, perform Unit Testing (UT) and System Integration testing (SIT).
• Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Storage services are desirable.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications while adhering to security, risk and controls standards and patterns.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features where required.
• Seeing through a solution from conception to finished product, iterating, and evolving based on stakeholder feedback.
• Designing and developing APIs as well as consuming pre-built, available ones.
• Participate on teams working in short sprints and ensure on time delivery with high quality.
• Create and maintain solution documents and artifacts to capture current state.
• Troubleshoot issues and work with team to identify and address problems.
• Maintain high degree of knowledge and expertise in cloud-based technologies contributing to go forward best practices, standards, and patterns.
• Create and contribute to a teams' ways of working that result in high performance, mind-set of experimentation and demonstration of the art of what is possible to iterate and deliver solutions more efficiently and beyond expectation.
• Ability to incorporate vendor components in the application build-out.
• Ability to work well with 3rd Parties to bring fully integrated solutions to life.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 5 or more years of design and developing production grade software components and solutions
• Proven experience working in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience in manufacturing, a plus
• Experience with React, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL, Python, and Laravel in conjunction with experience with WordPress, Magento, and Mulesoft
• Experience with relevant code repository and project tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
