Senior Full-Stack Developer (LAMP)

What does this position do?

The Senior Full-Stack Developer (LAMP) position comes with a high degree of autonomy and constant opportunities to participate in both user experience and technical and architectural design. Working with the Chief Technology Officer this person will:

• Develop internal and external APIs that provide data to our applications
• Improve performance for both client-side and server-side components
• Participate in decision-making concerning software architecture and design
• Build backend processes that communicate with other services and databases
• Web development including front-end, back-end & business logic
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Mentor and assist in the training and onboarding of junior developers
• Collaborate with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement

What else?

• 5+ years of coding experience in a LAMP stack with demonstrated proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)
• Strong understanding of PHP, web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and writing cross-browser compatible code
• Expert knowledge of technical analysis and design principles for building scalable applications
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask
• Extensive experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment
• Experience building RESTful web services using Web APIs
• Strong experience with Git versioning tools

The annual salary range for the position is $85,000 - $115,000.

This position will require at least three in-person days per week in our New York office. Applicants must be located in or near New York or able to commute to our Soho office as needed.
