Overview
- At Grata, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong engineering skillset, with extensive experience developing with search technologies. We are looking for someone who is excited about building a cutting edge private company search engine. With strong engineering knowhow, great system designs and product vision, they will push our search technology forward and drive even more value for our enterprise users.
About the Role:
- Drive technical design and implementation of our search and data processing infrastructure
- Contribute by building an excellent team culture and setting up engineering tenets
- Experiment with end to end improvements from new search interfaces to data storage designs
- Mentor other engineers on the team through activities like pairing and code reviews to promote a culture of technical excellence
- Collaborate with other teams across Grata to steward a coordinated strategy in a high growth environment
- Work in a distributed architecture with APIs, and event driven architecture
- Ship well designed, tested production code
- Have led projects from beginning to end
About You:
- 7-8 years of experience developing with search technologies, developing large scale data pipelines and scalable infrastructure
- Strong CS / Engineering degree and equivalent work experience
- Experience architecting search products and managing search infrastructure
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript Framework like React, or Vue
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript package management tool like NPM, PNPM
- Experience with TypeScript, Redux, Webpack and the HTML
- Has experience with building responsive web apps, and mobile development
- Experience with Python, Django, Postgres, NoSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Javascript, React
- Experience with Unit testing, AWS
- Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing with some exposure to TDD
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog
- Experience planning projects and managing team-wide efforts to completion
