Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Your Role

We could spend paragraphs talking about coding requirements, algorithms, and data structures, but you know that already. There are plenty of companies in NYC where you can program all day every day—this is more than just Jira tickets and GitHub code reviews. Come take ownership as you deliver something that people truly need. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll be an integral part of every aspect of the company—not just the code base but also in the product and the company culture.

Some of the responsibilities that you’ll contribute to:

• Responsibility for entire portions of the product. We expect all our engineers to own certain areas of development and take pride in creating great software
• Helping build new products from the ground up while contributing to a shareable component base for application scalability
• Work directly with the product owner and designer in creating technical specifications
• Be a part of key team decisions for technology framework, language and architecture choices
• Continually iterate team processes for development to improve team efficiencies
• Mentor other engineers by inspecting their code and helping them solve complex problems

Recommended Experience

We are seeking a teammate with 5+ years of front and back-end application, data, and platform engineering experience. We will be evaluating your track record of building and maintaining code in a production environment, as well as your experience architecting data models and scaling products at a software company. If you have relevant experience and are excited about fintech innovation at a company that’s breaking down barriers to higher education, we’d love to chat!
