Senior Full Stack Engineer

We’re working with top customers, including Snyk, Amazon, Okta

We’re now hiring an experienced full-stack web developer to join Ovio as the 4th member of our engineering team.

About us

— We’re a small team optimizing for impact — not headcount.

— We’re using 2 main programming languages — TypeScript & Python.

— We’re using React for our front-end, Postgraphile for our back-end, and Python for our data-pipeline

Responsibilities

— Develop, maintain and optimize the Ovio web app and our data/ML pipeline

— Monitor server usage, optimize relevant sites as necessary

— Liaise and coordinate with other team members

— Participate in team discussions about product development

— Assist on impact projects when needed. Eg. https://aqualink.org 

Requirements

— 2+ years in senior engineering positions and experience working in a remote-first team.

— Strong experience with modern technology stacks (React, Python, Graphql with Posgraphile (or similar)).

— Relentless resourcefulness, ownership mindset, and a proven record of single-handedly taking ideas from conception to production.

— Passion for open-source, collaboration, and impact. Experience working on B2B SaaS is a plus
