Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role

We’re looking for a versatile Senior Full Stack Engineer to work across both our React/Next.js and Go/Python stacks. You’ll shift between creating a versatile UI/UX as well as the backend APIs to support it. Our stack currently uses React with Typescript and Next.js on the frontend, and Go, Postgres, Python, and BigQuery on the backend. We deploy to Kubernetes on Google Cloud using Pulumi. If this sounds like an interesting stack, even if you don’t know some of those technologies, you’re likely the type of person we want to talk to.

Pipe is a remote company with hubs in SF, Atlanta, New York, and the UK. We have engineers who are primarily backend, or frontend, or a mix of both (full stack). We encourage engineers to flex between areas if they’re interested (or not). We have plenty of big challenges to tackle, and we invest heavily in the developer experience. We believe great engineers are capable of learning new things, and you will receive mentorship and guidance as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for engineers with this kind of background:

• 3-5+ years of experience writing production-quality code (with tests)
• Hands-on experience with one or more technologies in our stack (not all of them)
• Experience in an agile team and collaborating asynchronously
• Customer obsessed, with good communication skills
• Curious and eager to learn

The annual US base salary range for this role is $126,000 - $274,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Pipe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
