Position Description:

Crafts, develops, and improves software applications using Java, Spring and Oracle using Agile methodology. Prepares reports and correspondence on project specifications, activities, and status. Monitors functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Performs post-installation testing to identify and resolve technical problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Develops technical modules in support of complex assignments and multi-phase projects. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need. Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Is responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) crafting, developing, and improving cloud ready software applications using Java, Spring, and Oracle using Agile methodology.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) crafting, developing, and improving cloud ready software applications using Java, Spring, and Oracle using Agile methodology.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing and developing highly resilient, scalable, and secure applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Camel, Oracle, Kafka, and Angular; creating, building, and deploying applications using Continuous Integrations/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices, Docker, Jenkins, and Concourse.
• DE initiating, planning, building, and implementing Content Management Solutions (CMS) to generate documents and create comprehensive workflows, dynamic communication forms, and approval processes using Quadient Inspire toolset -- Designer, Interactive, Scaler, and ICM.
• DE developing capabilities to produce complex investment offering regulatory documents to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) -- 40Act Financial Reports; and maintaining, enhancing, and supporting 40 Act and Institutional documents.
• DE building Cloud native solutions in AWS using EC2 (to deploy applications), S3 (to store objects), RDS (for data persistence), and Cloud.
