About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our vibrant Growth Engineering Team at DataCamp. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge web applications that elevate and transform key user experiences.

Since our inception, the Growth platform has been integral to promoting and sustaining DataCamp's mission. Your contributions will be vital in guiding both existing and potential learners to the resources they need to achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities

• Help us build the best platform to guide users towards educational content.
• Contribute a significant stake to the technical direction of all of the Growth products
• Work with the latest frontend and backend technologies to solve challenging problems.
• Improve existing product growth features and build new ones from the ground up.
• Take ownership of several components in our microservices architecture.
• Contribute to our micro frontend ecosystem.
• Interact closely with team members to build scalable services.
• Inspire and grow the engineers around you through support, coaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• You have 4+ years of web development experience building world-class products using TypeScript, ReactJS, GraphQL, and NodeJS, on both frontend and backend applications
• You can write clean, maintainable, performant, testable code.
• You have a passion for performance and an eye for details
• You can show ownership of a product or feature.
• You are passionate about product development and can empathize with our customers and the problems they experience.
• You enjoy solving challenging technical problems.
• You are highly organized with a flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness/aptitude for learning
• You are a team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems and a results-oriented mindset.
• You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, technologies and orchestration (such as AWS/GCP).
• You are familiar with relational databases and concepts.
