Senior Full Stack Engineer (Payer Intelligence Layer)

The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Payer Intelligence Layer team on the Cedar Pay Pillar. As part of this team, you'll get the chance to help reduce friction between healthcare providers and health insurers for a smoother patient billing experience.
In this position you will:

• Be a technical leader, driving complex projects to completion while mentoring and growing other engineers.
• Design and build new end-to-end features that leverage data from health insurers
• Lead new integrations with health insurers to expand the impact to our patients
• Improve existing applications' speed and reliability
• Collaborate with your product, design, and data partners to discover and develop new product opportunities.
• Help us scale the company, the culture, and our products.

About You

• You are able to lead work on large technical problems with a strong ownership mentality, focused on delivering value (we don't have a hard requirement, but generally this comes with at least 5-6 years of professional software development experience)
• You are excited about our missions and want to solve problems for our patients
• You have experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Python preferred)
• You have experience building complex web applications with a modern web framework (Rails, Laravel, etc... - bonus if you have used Django)
• You have experience with Javascript or TypeScript and a modern JS framework preferred (React, Next, Angular, etc...)
• You have experience with relational databases, REST APIs, MVC Architecture, and OOP principles
• You have experience collaborating with product and design teams
