What you'll do

• Contribute to our mission to provide hospitality employees simplified and administrative services and receive their daily pay so that they can focus on providing best experience to their guest
• Improve our current stack and split them into API services as per scalability and integration needs
• Participate in architectural discussions to identify and fix any scaling bottlenecks in the system
• Improve reliability and performance of SpotOn's labor services infrastructure

What you'll bring

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• Strong working knowledge of modern programming paradigms
• Strong experience with modern programming languages like PHP, Go, Rust, python or typescript
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS/flexbox and experience with at least one modern frontend framework like reactjs, angular or backbone
• Experience with building highly scalable architectures
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborations skills

Compensation:

• Our base pay range is $140,000-170,000 for this role
• Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
• Offers will be reflective of the candidate's location and experience.
