Senior Full Stack Product Engineer, Payments

We’re hiring an experienced, senior product engineer who is looking to put their talents to work towards building something that matters - fixing the broken state of healthcare payments. You can expect to:

• Drive technical decision-making and architecture, balancing long-term scalability with rapid product development in a fast-moving startup environment
• Take ownership of engineering outcomes, ensuring that technical choices align with business goals while maintaining a focus on delivering the best possible user experience
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and balance trade-offs, ensuring that the engineering decisions align with the overall product strategy
• Execute on projects with a highly collaborative team, learning from and mentoring peers from a broad array of personal and professional backgrounds
• Continuously improve our customers’ experience in cross-functional partnership with our product and customer success teams

You'd be great for this role if you:

• Have spent 6+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining a React application and corresponding backend frameworks
• Backend experience in Python is a must
• Familiarity integrating with payments processors (Stripe) is a plus
• Familiarity with Remix is a plus
• Have experience creating and maintaining organized, responsive web development in a production environment.
• Love driving simple design and implementation with a focus on end-user behavior
• Have demonstrated experience working in an agile environment, taking initiative, and shipping products while contributing to collaborative design, engineering, and product teams
• Consider yourself a self-starter - eager to jump into new environments and learn through experience
