Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

In this role you will be able to help define state-of-the-art Human-Robot Interaction with Spot, the world's most capable mobile robot. The Spot Applications team is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer that will be part of a small group to innovate new ways for users to control Spot, and consume the data it collects, using our Scout application. Day to day activities:

• Develop polished web experiences using React & Node.js.
• Design core pieces of software architecture (e.g., database schemas, messaging layers, etc.) which address product requirements
• Collaborate with the UX and Product teams to understand product needs and recommend the best technical solution
• Participate in user testing, to continually improve the end-user experience

Desired skills:

• 5+ years professional experience shipping full-stack software to users
• Strong foundational knowledge of core web technologies
• Experience delivering solutions using advanced JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, etc.)
• Experience with backend development using Node.js, Go, or equivalent
• Experience with backend development using C++ is a plus
• VR/AR development experience or knowledge of Three.js a plus
