Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (all genders)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the architecture and implementation of our products, working closely with our UI/UX and product team to build an outstanding user experience with a modern technology stack.

These technologies, include but aren't limited to React, GraphQL, Node, Apollo, Cloudflare, DatoCMS, Commercetools, Node.js, Docker, and GCP.

As part of the team, you will be working alongside a group of like-minded individuals who share ownership of the codebase, problem-solving, and knowledge.

YOUR MISSION:

• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/design/working software solutions
• Work closely with the Product Owner to shape the backlog and requirements from an engineering and solution point-of-view
• Define and maintain technical quality standards by using code reviews, mentoring and pair programming

YOUR SKILLS:

• 5 years of experience in software engineering, out of which at least 3 years of experience with modern front-end technologies
• Excellent skills in React SSR/CSR, Node.js and GraphQL
• Experienced in designing scalable backend and front-end architectures
• Knowledge of microservice patterns, security best practices, engineering methodologies (e.g. Agile, TDD, XP)
• Interest in app development and be open to learn or have existing experience with React Native
• Bonus: Experience in TypeScript, React Native, GCP, Terraform, Apollo Client/Server, Commercetools, Cypress, Cloudflare Workers, Firebase
• Fluent in English
