Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/ Angular)

About Us RoofMarketplace is revolutionizing the claim restoration transaction with a proprietary online marketplace. Our platform returns multiple bids in less than 24 hours by allowing roofers to bid remotely in minutes, saving our clients millions of dollars in overpayments.

The Role Software Engineers at RoofMarketplace are responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of our platform.

Responsibilities • Perform software development tasks as assigned • Provide system support and bug fixes as needed • Communicate issues to technology team • Participate in design sessions and code reviews • Keep platform and dependencies up to date

Qualifications • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role with Java-based technologies • Ability to clearly communicate with team members and non-technical users • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills & Knowledge • Knowledge of Java-based technologies and ecosystem • Experience with Hibernate/JPA and SQL • Understanding of REST APIs and principles • Experience building single-page applications; preferably with Angular • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Docker Location &
