Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build capabilities that advance the development of our products. You will be a multiplier for the entire engineering team by not only delivering high-quality code on-time, but helping your teammates do so as well, by mentoring and providing support whenever needed. You’ll work across the engineering team interacting with product managers, designers, and other engineers in implementing the right-sized solution that meets the product requirements in a timely manner, while not compromising the operational stability of the overall product. • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 7+ years of experience designing and building durable, scalable, and high-availability systems, optimizing for delivering the most value as quickly as possible
• Experience using our stack or similar technologies (Node.js, GraphQL, React, Python 3, Typescript, Docker)
• Experience with cloud-based deployments, PaaS and IaaS offerings (most notably Kubernetes and AWS)
• Experience with database design, performance, and troubleshooting (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, docker-compose, Fargate)
• Deep working knowledge of version control (git) and CI/CD tools (Gitlab-CI, CircleCI)
• Experience working on a small, tight-knit, high-performing engineering team
• Experience owning and delivering capabilities or value streams
• Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and deliver value to users both internally and externally
• Ability to mentor junior and mid-level software engineers via pair programming
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience turning architecture ideas into tech specs that can be executed by anyone on the team
• Enjoys working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
• Skill and comfort working in a rapidly moving startup environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Experience with AWS EKS and Helm
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Redis, RabbitMQ, etc
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems
• Advanced data interfaces and interaction UI development 
• Early-stage data-centric startup experience
• Experience working within DOD software factory environments
