Senior Fullstack TS Developer (backend-oriented)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack TS Developer (backend-oriented) in France.

We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack TypeScript Developer with a strong focus on backend development to design, build, and optimize features for a high-growth B2B SaaS platform. You will work on multiple projects, contributing to both frontend and backend solutions while improving the codebase through refactoring, bug fixes, and performance optimization. This role requires autonomy, creativity, and a passion for technical challenges, as well as collaboration with customer support and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software. • Design, develop, and deliver new features across the frontend and backend, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
• Improve existing code through refactoring, bug resolution, and performance optimization.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while taking full ownership of complex development tasks.
• Support customer-facing teams by providing technical solutions to challenges and inquiries.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering team through mentoring and collaborative problem-solving.
• Contribute to the scalability, optimization, and long-term maintainability of the software platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in TypeScript/JavaScript development with a strong track record in web applications.
• Solid expertise in Node.js and MongoDB, with backend-oriented development experience.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex projects, and quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools like Slack, Notion, and Gather.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to work across time zones close to France.
• Adaptable and willing to work on front-end integration, backend development, database optimization, and technical support as needed.
• Nice-to-have: prior experience in B2B SaaS startups or self-directed personal projects demonstrating programming passion.
