Senior Accountant - Fund Services

West Orange, NJ or Wilmington, DE

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This position has in-office training and client team meetings a few days a month and remote location available other days.

Candidates for this position must be eligible to work without sponsorship in the United States. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.

Some of the things you will be doing:

CSC's Fund Solutions group is seeking a Senior Accountant with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service. Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:

• Prepare and/or review accounting records, schedules, and reports
• Support NAV production (workpapers, transaction processing, preparing books and records)
• Prepare checks and wires
• Prepare Form 1099
• Client interaction
• Special projects - including assisting in streamlining and increasing efficiencies of current processes and procedures (ie, automating calculations in excel spreadsheets, efficient workpaper setup, etc.)
• Internal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• BS Degree in Accounting
• Three to five years of experience
• Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
• Investran experience a plus
• Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
