Senior Global Consumer Marketing Manager
Job Description
Peloton is looking for a Senior Global Product Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for leading go-to-market strategies that drive key business and engagement metrics across our marketing channels and product platforms. In this role, you are responsible for partnering with the business for charting marketing strategies for new growth initiatives, as well as leading marketing initiatives that drive awareness, conversion and retention across the entire Connected Fitness Portfolio. The emphasis in this role will be on exploring new growth initiatives with a view to building sustainable business models for the future of Peloton in the market.
You’ll combine product thinking, data analysis, segmentation, go-to-market planning, and positioning to define how we grow the All Access Member Subscriptions. Partnering with experts on a wide variety of teams (Product, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Consumer Insights, Revenue, Strategy, Legal, Sales, etc.), you’ll identify, prioritize, and accelerate the growth of the Connected Fitness business and All Access Subscriptions. You’ll use data to demonstrate the success of your work. You will be responsible for continually optimizing specific business models, measuring the impact of new lines of growth on the overall business.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic, and analytical thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large), works well within ambiguity, can clearly communicate a vision and uses data to drive marketing-lead growth. This role hinges on flexibility, adaptability and the ability to take fast-moving projects from ideas into testing plans.Â
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON- Develop a keen understanding of the customer through segmentation, competitive market analysis, surveys, interviews and product usage data
- Identify gaps in our understanding of the consumer for key growth initiatives and devise research in partnership with Consumer Insights & User Research to close those gaps and provide recommendations
- Build deep knowledge of the business in order to craft, launch and optimize new and existing strategies to drive efficient sustainable growth of Connected Fitness sales and All Access Subscriptions
- Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks and value propositions for new growth initiatives, ensuring alignment across other marketing teamsÂ
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new programs & promotions; partner with other internal Marketing teams to build cross-channel marketing plans that drive awareness and conversion
- Leverage data and research to develop insights that influence product development, go-to-market strategy, marketing campaign activations, and pricing / promotional strategies
- Collaborate with marketing channel owners (e.g. web, lifecycle), sales and customer experience teams to develop marketing and enablement materials that successfully bring your initiative to market
- Deep understanding of an eCommerce marketing funnel and how to build strategies that target specific funnel problems to solve
- Closely collaborate with Product Marketers across different business units and geographies on Peloton-wide initiatives and campaigns
- Present growth strategy plans to leadership and cross-functional teams, showcasing deep subject matter knowledge and strong partnership across functions
- 6+ years of work experience in a related role; 3+ in product marketing, brand management, full stack marketing or strategy roles
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
- Experience in marketing in an innovative, fast-paced and customer-centric environment
- Experience driving and executing global projects with many stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with comfort influencing senior-level, cross-functional teams and presenting to executive stakeholders
- Familiarity with both acquisition and engagement data; proven data-first approach to building products and solving business needs
- Multi-dimensional skillset, including: tactical planning, strategic execution, cross-functional relationship management, analytical and quant skills
- Forward-thinking, organized, and detail-oriented
Base Salary: $187,300.00Â to $243,400.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
