Let's talk about the team

As a leader for our novel Diagnostic Home Sleep Test, NightOwl, the Senior Product Manager will be in a unique position to directly impact the lives of healthcare providers and consumers and thus possesses both customer empathy and technical nous. PMs will work in dynamic development teams collaborating with multiple teams globally.

To ensure success in the role, as a PM, you will be able to demonstrate that you are a self-starter, big-picture thinker and the right amount of attention to details, while working in a rapid, iterative agile team environment. With a passion for learning, you are a self-driven leader with initiatives to learn new tools and products as well as identify opportunities to improve current processes and standards.

While working backwards from customers' workflows, you will support and drive long-term goals to solve customers' problems and use analytics and a data driven approach to build a long-form narrative of the product vision. This will include, but not limited to, 6-page narratives or stories, and PRFAQs (press release and frequently asked questions) as a mode of informing product teams and stakeholders of the product vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Support integration of EctoSense's diagnostic portfolio into ResMed's Sleep and Respiratory Care business unit
  • Build working relationships with Regional marketing personnel to understand their market drivers, business models, opportunities and needs in their markets.
  • Prioritize diagnostic roadmap in partnership with hardware Product Manager
  • Manage 1 direct report: the hardware Product Manager
  • Be the go-to source for market knowledge, to do this you will always think beyond the product and be able to articulate the experience that needs to be delivered to improve the quality of life for patients across the world.
  • Solicitation and analysis of input from relevant sources and prepare Marketing Requirements Documents (MRD) for the assigned projects when applicable
  • Serve as a key member of XFTs across hardware and digital to ensure defined MRD outcomes are met and/or refined.
  • Be proactive and pre-emptive with required new product development projects to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize, plan, manage and coordinate the introduction of diagnostic solutions into global markets, which may include formulation of marketing communications plan, launch production volume ramp plans and product training and educational materials in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Sustain/manage the product lifecycle of assigned diagnostic products through product management activities to ensure continual supply and appropriate product obsolescence plans.
  • Facilitate the communication of global competitive activities and products to the product development project teams and the regions.

Let's talk about you
  • Degree qualification in a Marketing, Scientific, an Engineering or Business discipline or related education and experience
  • Along with 5 years' experience in Product Management, Global/Regional Business Development, Clinical Marketing and/or Commercial sales or related experience
  • Preferably with experience in product development environment and/or highly regulated industries.
  • Resilient, open, collaborative and innovative 'growth' mindset.
  • Intensely curious to think outside-of-the-box and challenge the norms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience in managing cross functional global teams, with excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and work remotely as some team members are based in global offices.
