Become a Senior Global Revenue Accounting Advisor for Bloomreach! Help us build a new global revenue accounting team focusing on accurate revenue recognition of a SaaS growing business. Your starting salary will be 2700⏠per month with stock options and other benefits included. Working in one of our Central Europe offices or from home on a full-time basis, you´ll become a part of the Finance Team.
Your job will be to:- Perform revenue accounting monthly close to ensure the revenue is recognized in compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606) and Company policy
- Coordinate with contract review team to maintain and update multiple element arrangements waterfalls, and prepare and upload ASC 606 journal entries in NetSuite
- Create system revenue recognition journal entries and review billing and revenue reports to ensure revenue schedules & amounts are booked correctly
- Coordinate with professional services team and update revenue schedule upon delivery or percentage of completion to ensure Professional Service revenue is recognized timely
- Perform monthly revenue fluctuation analysis and support management and FP&A team
- Reconcile revenue and deferred revenue accounts
- Partner with cross-functional groups across the businessÂ
- Assist with new revenue system implementation testingÂ
- Support annual financial statement audit process
- Ad hoc requests as needed
- Help to evaluate current revenue operation and close process to make recommendations for improvements
- Support revenue team to document the procedures and process flowchart
You have these qualities and experience:
- Professional - analytical and accounting/financial experienceÂ
- Personal - team-related skills, communication
- 4+ years of Accounting and Finance with 2 years+ of revenue related experience Enrollment in some professional qualifications, such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA advantage.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with US GAAP (ASC 606) revenue recognition are required
- Salesforce CRM platform and NetSuite experiences are the advantages
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent English verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Drive for results, with a focus on timely and complete delivery.Â
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
- Command skills & financial acumen to work in a growing business model.Â
