Senior Graphic Designer

Cloud Chamber is looking for a vintage inspired Senior Graphic Designer who specializes in branding, typography, print design, and illustration that evokes the commercial art of the pre-digital age. As a Senior Graphic Designer at Cloud Chamber you will help develop the visual language and build art assets for in-game spaces ranging from grocery stores to government think tanks, then switch gears to hand-letter blood-spattered notes d'amour. You’ll tackle illustration styles ranging from cereal mascots to pulp novel covers, collaborate on signage and environmental storytelling, and generate custom cut typefaces and hand lettered signage.

Job Duties: 

• Collaborate closely with the art and narrative teams to help develop the 2D graphic art and illustration of the game.
• Create external and internal branding and graphic design documents (bibles).
• Illustrate historically accurate advertising, branding, propaganda.
• Create player-facing infographics and world character details.
• Generate key frames and storyboards for motion graphics.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Games, Film, Advertising, and/or Illustration.
• BA in Fine Arts, or equivalent industry experience. 
• Experience in print design and/or editorial illustration is a plus.
• Uncompromising about quality and presentation in your work.
• Organized, efficient, and ready to create an entire city’s worth of graphic art. 
• Experience or familiarity with motion graphics, 3D modeling, and Unreal Engine are compelling complimentary skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic collaborator, always eager to share what you’ve created with the team.  
• Ability to take direction well.
• Humble, open to coaching, an iterative process, and group critique.
