AlGooru is a Saudi-based learning platform that offers 1-on-1 private tutoring services in a variety of academic and recreational subjects. It is the first licensed private tutoring platform in Saudi Arabia, approved by the National e-Learning Center (NELC). AlGooru provides tailored educational support to students, and it's backed by several renowned investors including Constructor Capital, Techstars, Plug & Play, Raz Group, RZM Investment, and prestigious institutions like KAUST, Hub71, and MiSK.

A Fun Fact about AlGooru is that its name derives from “Guru,” a Sanskrit word meaning a mentor, guide, expert, or master.

The Role Highlights 💡

🎯 Main responsibilities

• Craft visually stunning and impactful designs that elevate our social media presence.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose creative solutions to strengthen our visual brand identity.
• Collaborate with content marketers to ensure consistent and engaging visual communication across all platforms.
• Develop and maintain visual brand guidelines for seamless brand consistency.
• Partner with the content marketing team to understand marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and target audience.
• Brainstorm and develop clear design concepts in a collaborative environment.
• Manage projects from initial concept to final execution, meeting deadlines consistently.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
• Delegate tasks effectively to optimize workflow.
• Present design ideas with confidence to content team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.

PS: This role will turn to a full-time position within a three-month period

🏆 Experience needed

• 8+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Deep understanding of Saudi culture (do's & don'ts)
• Proficient in typography, color theory, layout design, print production, motion graphics, and video editing
  Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Premier Pro
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D modeling is a plus
• Familiarity with Midjourney platform
• Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, adept at working with cross-functional teams.

💰 The pay

The starting base pay for this role is $500 for a minimum of 20 visuals per month. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
