Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer
Department & Team: Brand and Creative
Reports to: Miguel Avila

Summary:

Genesys is looking for a highly motivated, talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing team. As part of the Brand Creative team, you’ll keep the Genesys brand consistent while keeping it fresh. With several years of design under your belt, you have great time management and communication skills. You can execute with minimal direction. You are a team player, leader and take direction graciously, but stand up for your ideas diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Consistently apply Genesys branding guidelines across all designs.
• Highly professional with the ability to deliver solid work on tight deadlines
• Create conceptual designs that communicate complex ideas effectively.

• Listening to design needs, coming up with ideas, and communicating them to clients and other members of the team.
• Plan production schedules for the various steps in the design process; analyzes project development costs and develop project budgets and workflow for multiple concurrent projects; participate in production and/or marketing planning group sessions and meetings.
• Carry design projects from concept through completion.
• Conduct creative consultations with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and how they can elevate the Genesys brand.
• Ensure design files and image libraries are organized consistently.
• Demonstrate the ability to think creatively.
• Great sense of typography and visual composition.
• Adhere to policies and conduct set forth by Genesys.

Required

• Speak English fluently
• 7+ years of experience in graphic design, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, XD, and Office.
• Up-to-date portfolio demonstrating mastery, creativity, and diversity.
• Expertise in web, presentation, and print design.
• Rapid prototyping abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, able to think creatively to solve problems.
• BFA/BA from an accredited university in Graphic Design or Fine Arts is preferred.
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
• Ability to consult effectively with non-designers on projects.

Bonus points

• Experience working with digital marketing that delivers a large volume of digital ads/creatives.
• Experience working as an in-house designer.
• Expereince with Asana.
