Senior Graphic Designer

RYZ Labs is looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join join the Creative Services team of one of our partners. The Senior Graphic Designer will be working under direction of Art Directors and Senior Designers and collaboratively with the experiential and presentation designers as well as members of our Production and Account Departments.

They will be responsible for creating stunning print and digital graphics that bring our events to life. The Graphic Designer will ensure that the designs meet project objectives and company standards.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar and/or training in art and technology, digital art.

-Track record of graphic design execution with 4+ years experience. Agency experience preferred.

-Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

-Strong layout and typography skills. Illustration skills a plus.

-Ability to think creatively about brand identity and translate into event graphics.

-Proven ability to work and thrive as a member of a team in a fast-paced creative deadline driven

environment with multiple projects

-Strong creative and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and meticulous follow

through.

-Strong communication skills: visual, written and verbal.

-Passionate about the role brands play in culture, events and experiences with a proven ability to

weave culture into design solutions.

-Positive can-do attitude. Self-Motivated, energetic, and organized.

-Desire to positively influence the culture and attitudes of the creative services department and

company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

-Engage in creative research and development through inspiration boards, graphic ID development and

mock ups.

-Manage artwork, die lines and workflows across multiple brands while adhering to differing style guides

and brand requirements.

-Assist in managing branding grids and workback schedules to ensure all files are delivered on time.

-Establish print-ready files based on concept art.

-Balance quality work with hard deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

-Present work and get buy-in from senior creatives.

-Maintain a consistent strong point of view and be able to articulate creative ideas internally and

externally.

-Execute custom design elements for event collateral such as digital activations, stage backdrops, wall

graphics, booth design, banners, signage, invites and other support material.

-Develop fresh and unique graphic design solutions to the project’s diverse lineup of challenges, bringing

to life the client brand and program aesthetic.

-Develop graphic work collaboratively with the experiential designer to ensure graphics that are accurately

and seamlessly integrated into the overarching event design.

-Communicate with vendors when needed to ensure proper production.

-Understand and keep up with emerging trends in graphics, type, and experiential design.

-Shows initiative to acquire new technical skills to amplify knowledge & design abilities
