Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an Senior Ground Test Requirements Engineer to support our recently awarded $2.3bil TEAMS Next contract. Our Team provides system engineering support to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) strategic planning for the Missile Defense System. Our Ground Test Requirements Engineer will provide the organization with technical and engineering support. In this role, you will execute Missile Defense Agency systems engineering processes to support the operational tempo required to implement the Ground Test Concept of Operations for MDA flight test events and to ensure test planning and data generation are sufficient to achieve MDS test requirements.

Job Description:
  • Lead the development and execution of Missile Defense System (MDS) test requirements, product definitions, integrated timelines, and authority/responsibility definitions.
  • Lead and participate in Tiger Teams to support critical customer technical needs, identify process and/or technical discrepancies, and propose innovate approaches to meeting customer expectations.
  • Apply exceptional understanding of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and its environment to identify, improve, or resolve MDA system test requirements issues, both internal and external to the division.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to MDA's ground test mission.
  • Support MDA's effort and vision in managing, coordinating, and ensuring achievement of test requirements, capability requirements and allocation analysis while also developing and documenting test requirements.
  • Provide senior-level support to the Systems Requirements Leadership team in the identification of risks and watch items resulting from the test requirements coordination process.


Required Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering/STEM with 12+ years experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 12+ years DoD experience
  • Demonstrated executive-level communication
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)


Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and practices
  • 7+ years experience in test requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in multiple aspects of the Missile Defense System
