Senior Growth Marketing Manager
Job Description
Pendo is on the search for a creative, data-driven marketer to join our product-led Growth (PLG) Marketing team and make a massive impact to our freemium product strategy. This role will be at the forefront of implementing innovative product led growth strategies and tactics to drive meaningful engagement with users throughout their onboarding, adoption, and value realization of Pendo. You’ll own the planning and execution of experiments and lifecycle programs across multiple channels including email, in-app guidance, and webinars. You’ll design and optimize our “product qualified lead” programs and work closely with sales enablement to enable sales-assisted motions for Pendo Free. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement initiatives to grow buyers and users of our free, trial and self serve products; optimize key revenue-driving activities such as email, in-app messaging and content.
- Design a lifecycle strategy focused on ensuring customers adopt our freemium products, realize value quickly and upgrade to paid offerings. Â
- Partner with product marketing, digital, marketing segment leads and regional teams to identify revenue growth opportunities including campaign and channel optimization.
- Create self-service touch points across the user lifecycle to drive education, community and advocacy experiences.Â
- Play a lead role to develop and evangelize the vision for PLG at Pendo in partnership with our Product team.Â
- Partner with product, ops and data science to evolve our sales-assisted lead programs to improve quality and conversion using predictive modeling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience in B2B SaaS growth marketing.
- Understands product lifecycle stages and has built programs aligned to acquisition, adoption, and conversion.
- Demonstrated track record for writing effective copy, designing content and messaging journeys for customer communications.
- Experience working with sales to ensure they have the right reporting, meet SLAs and are successful in their outreach.Â
- Exceptional prioritization and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Looker, Marketo, Pendo.
- Experience with self-serve free motions.
- A bias to act, a collaborative, can-do attitude, and a great sense of humor.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

Remote: USD $125,000 - USD $155,000
San Francisco Bay Area, CA: is USD $144,000 - USD $178,000
New York City, NY: is USD $131,000 - USD $163,000
Raleigh, NC: is USD $125,000 - USD $155,000
Colorado: USD $125,000 - USD $155,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
